Yey!!! One of my favorite dish. I just marinated it and now it’s in the fridge to soak it for awhile. Then hubby will grill it later, probably when I’m sleeping. Need my beauty sleep coz I have to work tonight. But I’ll try to get up early enough to help him though, promise, lol. I’ll post pictures later when we’re done grilling..

The thong is the string bikini of the shoe world. It is designed sandals to leave the foot looking as temptingly naked as possible.
I like to wear thong sandals myself during summer season. I also love to have them on when I’m at the beach.
But you know what, throughout the years of 1930s and 40s, daytime shoes that revealed the toes were considered immodest, you believe that?

Tropical storm Edouard is on it’s way to Galveston.
The activation came as residents along the Texas and Louisiana coasts prepare for Tropical Storm Edouard as it rolls through the warm waters of the Gulf. Edouard’s aim at the Texas Gulf coast comes at the height of tourist season. Neighboring southwest Louisiana also braced for the storm, with one parish evacuating homes nearest the Gulf.
Emergency teams were activated as Gulf residents prepared for their second strong storm in two weeks, although Edouard is forecast to hit a different stretch of the Texas coast or Louisiana than Hurricane Dolly did last month. Texas began activating a number of emergency teams Sunday afternoon, including calling up 1,200 Texas military forces and six UH-60 helicopters, the State Operations Center said. The Texas Forest Service and the Texas Engineering and Extension Service activated response teams.

A well-designed sandal embraces the innate sensuality of the foot and gives it’s wearer the ability to the flirt right down to her toes. Given the simple construction, it’s not surprising that sandals were the first crafted footwear, the successors to primitive wrappings. Every ancient civilization seems to have had it’s own version of the basic design: a stiff sole fitted with straps or thongs. They also left foot almost completely uncovered and on display.
Most shoes reveal something about the status of the wearerm but sandals have been alternately symbols of prestige or poverty, of chastity or coquetry.

This blog is made because of my passion for footwear. As far as I remember, I was in my kindergarten year, I already wished to have many shoes I like that I could wear at different times. But then I knew myself, that I couldn’t have them. We were not one of those “can-afford anything” families. I still kept those wishes as time went by.
Every time I see someone wearing a nice looking pair of shoes, I wish to myself that one day I could have it. When window shopping at the malls, I always go to the shoe department first of all. Though I know I’m not buying a pair, I always try them on. It makes me feel very comfortable and I whisper to myself, I’ll be back one day to purchase them, lol.
I generally like high-heeled shoes. Flats and mid-heels are nice to wear - depends on my mood and what kind of outfit I’m wearing.
At present, I’m able to buy the shoes I like. However, if they look beautiful, yet I don’t feel comfortable when I fit them, I don’t purchase them. I would never buy any kind of shoes that give me discomfort when I put them on. I don’t care if they look nicer than the ones that make my feet happy. Comfort comes first when I buy any kind of footwear.
